How does DayWonder protect my privacy?

All your data is stored locally on your device and in your private iCloud account. We don’t collect, transmit, or store any data on third-party servers. Your diary content, photos, and location information are completely private and belong only to you.

Where does my data sync to?

When iCloud sync is enabled, your diary data automatically syncs to your private iCloud account. This means you can access your diary on other iPhone devices logged in with the same iCloud account.

Why does the app need access to my photo library?

DayWonder needs photo library access so you can add photos to your diary entries. For example, you can select a vacation photo to include in your travel diary entry. These photos are saved with your diary locally.

Why does the app need my location?

Location is used to automatically record where you were when creating diary entries and to display current weather conditions. For example, when you write about visiting a park, the app will record “Central Park, New York” and show “Sunny, 72°F”.

How do I delete my data?

You can delete any diary entry directly in the app. To completely remove all data, delete the app from your iPhone settings. If you have iCloud sync enabled, you’ll also need to delete the related data from iCloud settings.

What devices are supported?

DayWonder is designed exclusively for iPhone and supports devices running iOS 18.0 or later.

How to create a new diary entry?

Tap the “+” button in the top right corner of the main screen to create a new diary entry. You can add text, photos, location, emotions, and more.

How to edit existing entries?

Tap any entry in the diary list to view details, then tap the edit button to modify the content.

How to enable iCloud sync?

Go to app settings and enable “iCloud Sync”. Make sure your device is logged into your iCloud account.
